Subject: split cook results

well yesterday late in the afternoon we ate the results of a split cook done on two 5 lb butts. this is my opinion of this exercise. the meat turned out fairly good i think just a little drier than normal but still good. very good bark with lots of flavor.

just took way to long. Saturday 6 hrs and Sunday 9 hrs to get to 185. if you are stuck for time i guess it may be ok but if not i'd go to the 12-14 hr streight cook. reg
