I'm trying out the smoked deviled eggs in the Egg, using the method of small fire on very bottom of egg, then trivet, then a pieplate with ice and eggs in a perforated wok on top of three flat firebricks. At this point, with bottom vent wide open, dome temp is 100. Grate temp should be in that 80-85 range. May be able to cold smoke with this giant avacado after all!
