Subject: What a meal!

I had a meal tonight that was just perfect.

My mom took me to 'The Keg' for my birthday, just the two of us, she says, "drink-up and eat-up til you burst"

I ordered a Keg sized Ceasar, then a Keg Sized Captain Morgan Dark and coke, then a Lambs Palm Breeze(rum) and coke.(you have to know my mom, any less and she would have been pissed off at me)

FOr the meal I ordered the Top Sirloin, medium rare and Alaskan King Crab legs with baked potatoe w/tomato and drawn butter.
My mom ordered the Prime Rib and Lobster with a carafe of red wine.

Mister Jeesus, when I bit into that steak I thought I was In heaven, then the crab legs in the hot butter.
I don`t do alot of steak since I have gotten into bbq, we mostly do the low and slow stuff so this was a treat and a half for me, goddam, I can still taste it...

On the way to the restaurant she asked me to stop at the liquor store and that she needed to pick something up, she headed right over and picked up a 40 pounder of Jack Daniels and handed that over along with a 'happy birthday'

I just wanted to tell you guys that "moms" are our friends!
They are good people!

p.s, when I got home, the boys had got me some little 'pig' lawn decorations that are meant to be used at comps and JoAnne got me a Sleemans Hat and a box of Sleeman Steam beer, she told me that my OTHER gift wasn`t ready and should be here soon...
