It's good to be back home and be able to relax (that is; cook). If you will forgive me, my butt doesn't want to feel a car seat for a while LOL.
Yes, Monty had the pit running on hickory for about half a day to tune it and was giving it a liberal coating with peanut oil all the time. There are still a few corners that will need a touch-up but there's not a spot of rust anywhere.
Right now I've got a brisket on board, it's hardly been cold since we came home.
Seeing it in the flesh is quite an experience, I can't wait to share that.
