Hi John, coming from a family with 3 Johns, it is easy to remember names.

Tonight after work, I got my charcoal,chimney starter, and a couple of small logs of apple, and proceeded with the first burn/cure... Damn, it smells good ! Even without the food on.(It's getting late for a good 'cue) So far, I have had 2 neighbours drop by to see what all the smoke is about.I am surprised that the Fire Dept. hasn't shown up yet. I figure if they bring meat, they are welcome! Ha Ha

Hopefully, I'll be hearing and swapping stories with all!!
