Subject: A Long Drive for Lunch

Good evening all,

It's so nice being off work for a week, and the wife and I sure could use the rest!

After a fairly busy couple of days, we decided to "rest" for a day. When the subject of " What's for lunch " came up, we decided to fire up the Escort Wagon and drive 1.5 hours to Camp 31 in Paris.

Am I ever glad we did!! We ended up ordering the 5 meat combo. It consisted of Side Ribs, Pulled Pork, Brisket, Sausage, and 1/4 chicken, along with 4 sides. We settled on double fries, cole slaw, and baked beans. With 2 bottomless Pepsi's and all taxes, the bill came to just a smidgeon over $30 !! I just wish that beer was served !!

This , definitely will not be our last visit, but gotta bring my Father-in-law just for the beans !!!!!!!!!

I think I'll fire up the Brinkmann on Sunday once again for a rib-fest. Any suggestions for sides ?? I'm getting a little tired of beans and slaw. (If that's possible)

Thank you very much to the CBSA for the link !

JMC
