I suggest getting/researching information on Irlen lenses and/or overlays. I am an elementary dyslexia teacher and an Irlen screener. While Irlen is criticized by some, I have seen the dramatic results/improvements in students using colored overlays while reading. It would definitely be worth your time to get some information. I believe the website is www.irlen.com
