I was too was scard to death to take the GRE's being dyslexic. I applied to school engineeirng without taking the GRE's and talked to the departments directly. I had good grades and specific knew what I wanted to do. It turned out that once a professor wants you to come to school there they can wave the min. GRE score. I got into the following Engineeirng school, MIT, Texas A&M, PSU, Oregon State without GRE scores. Now granted once I picked the school I did have to take the GRE before I could be enrolled in classes. I evently did take the GRE and got 700 Math but only a 230 verbal. But no one cared!

Hope this is some enchouragment. Good Luck.
