Hey there,
I just thought that i would visit this web site as i was told about it today after my dyslexia test which needed an update. I noticed one thing in my test which had dramatically improved since the last and i used the following technique. I thought that it might assist some with simular problems. I found that my short term memory for numbers was really poor. I pictured a telephone keypad in my head and then when the numbers are read to me i pictured dialing them. What i found in my test is that i was even able to recite the number backwards. This was due to being able to see the pattern that the number made on the keypad in my head. It's the image of the numbers being pressed and the pattern it makes (eg: 713264 would be corner corner corner triangle).
Hope this helps some of you as it has me.
Craig
