My six year old is dyslexic and has been studying private piano since age three. She has been taken off the note reading program because her notes "move". Now she studys only the Suzuki (ear) method. When she was in Kindergarten, she heard the song "Kumbaya" for the first time, liked it, and within 15 minutes taught herself to play it with two hands.
