1. Name?
Garrett Bromfield
2. Age?
24
3. Occupation?
Groom at Night Rider Manor
4. What type of animal are you interested in?
Horse
8. Have any animals in particular caught your eye? Why?
The Irish Draught mare and colt have caught his eye because he knows the breed well. The pair of them have a good disposition and are attractive, and he knows that they would both go far. This pair would be his preference, but if you deem that another horse would be better for him, he would consider them. (Warning: he only rides English.)
5. Where would you be keeping them?
He would be keeping them at the Night Rider Manor. They would be in the same stable as other horses, but they wouldn't have to be put out in the same pasture as them if they don't get along with others.
6. What would you be planning on doing with them?
He would ride the mare, and if possible, jump with her. He would be willing to put in the time and effort to help train her if needed. I'm not sure if her 'funny action' behind will keep her from jumping or not, but he would be fully willing to care for her even if she couldn't jump. In that case, she might be used just for flat work.
Both Thoroughbreds and Irish Draughts are good for jumping, so he might follow this track when training the colt (when he gets older, of course). Before he decides this, though, he'd get to know the colt more, etc. He might or might not geld the colt, depending on the advice of a veterinarian and the colt's disposition. (In other words, whatever you want.)
7. What past experience do you have of training this type of animal?
Every summer, he lived at his uncle's farm, and he helped train horses there. He could always have help from Alana (I think that's how you spell her name) who is the Night Rider Manor's trainer if he runs into any difficulties.
