That the lava monsters were lifeless masses of rock now meant nothing to Ryu. As far as he knew, they were still a threat, since they were still there. So, waving a taloned hand once again, Ryu casts a black orb around himself. Grass and trees, even the air itself, became saturated with a vibe of some very strong magic

The real Ryu was rather worried about how much worse the situation would get. Nobody seemed to be paying any attention to the fires that had blazed to life when he splattered one of the lava monsters over a few trees and bushes.
Suddenly, a jolt of energy coursed through his mind. He knew what his counterpart was doing. No...stop...EVERYBODY GET OUT OF THERE!! Please.... he also knew that his plea would go unheard, unfortunately. All he could do was hope that the others had the good sense to get the hell away from what was coming.

The black orb had doubled in size, and now it was covered with an odd series of glyphs and runes, glowing with some blue light. Two cracks formed near the top of the orb, which spidered outward until two transparent wings broke through. A shockwave shattered the remains of the orb, revealing now a dragon. Though hardly a humongous specimen, the dragon was a good 75 yards long, head to tail. It's head and back seemed as if they were covered with a sort of plated armor, as did its legs and arms. This was the Infinity Dragon, the most powerful, and unpredictable form Ryu could achieve.
Slowly, a dark mist crept into the opening through the surrounding treeline. The mist congealed around the immobile lava monsters, and held them in place, as if they were going to move. The sky around the Infinity Dragon crackled with lightning as beads of energy began to collect into the dragon's open mouth.
Rearing it's head back, the dragon gathered up the last bits of energy, and leaned forward, loosing a powerful blast of energy backed by a thunderous roar. The blast hurled down at the lava monsters, but if the others didn't high tail it, they'd be caught in the explosion.
