After reading the novel Anthem, I would give it a rate of 9. The most disturbing concept in the novel to me is how they couldn't think on their own. Not being able to express yourself and turning down your own ideas because one or more people don't agree with it is wrong. Thinking about new things and finding new life is what the society in Anthem didn't want the people to find out. The council of scholars was very selfish and I didn't agree with the rules or laws they had.
