~*~ Batting away the tapestry that blocks the main room off to this one, you walk into a spacious area. The high ceilings are lined with wooden support beams, a few tapestries hang from the wall, adding color to the otherwise gray room. You venture in more, forgetting for a moment that the room might be occupied as you continue to look around. To your left is a splenid fire place, with a bricked hearth, and the metal is intricitly carved with swirling patterns of curlicues. Already a fire is going, sending shadows dancing in the room, and spreading its heat out, warming the place. On the mantel are a few various knick-knacks that had been acquired over the years. Except the center peice, which was lavish and ornate and had clearly caught the eye of many. It was a large, crystal sphere, inside it hanging in the "sky" was a full, silver moon, shining down upon the two wolves running in the snow. The one in the back was pure black, with a little bit of white around his ears and tail, the other, nearest you, was a standard gray wolf, yet she bore a mark the other did not. The mark was simple, but elegant, a small cresant moon with a star to the side of it. You suddenly realize that the moon gives off an eerie glow that spills onto the floor and is erased by the fire's light. Every now and then is pulsates once, getting brighter for a few seconds before dying back to its regular irridescent form. You catch a glimpse up in the mirror hanging on the fireplace of a wolf standing almost right behind you. Startled, you quickly spin around, wondering how you could have missed her approach. She dips her head in greeting.* Hello. My name's Eris--Ri for short--welcome to my chamber. Please, make yourself comfortable, *she says before jumping atop a leather chest at the end of the king size, four-poster canopy bed and padding over on to it. Smiling, though it doesn't quite reach her hooded eyes she says,* So, stranger, what's your name? *As she says this she begins stretching, getting comfortable. You can't help but notice that she has the same mark on her shoulder as the gray wolf in the crystal globe had on her muzzle. You shake your head, dismissing the strange thoughts that buzz in your mind and smile stating who you are. She gives a nod of the head, visibly relaxing more.* As long as you are of the lights, you may stay as long as you'd like. If not... well, we'll cross that path when the time comes...*You smile and thank her, the make your way over to get warmed up by the fire. Curling up, you gaze dreamily into the flames, and lay your head on your paws, a peaceful state of mind setting in as the fire continues its hypnotic dance. ~*~
