She looks from mare to foals and back again. She knew that training the filly would be hard, but no harder then it had been to train Spots. Now the appaloosa mare would risk her life for Amber. Spots nickers to the occupants of the stall. Amber goes to a joining window and she opens it. She gives the mare a treat and then stands near the window...
