Star lays quietly for afew minutes after the girl's departure. Then she pushes her lithe frame upwards and trots out into the barn aisle. Pistons pause in carrying her forward, her large, dark optics scanning the now empty corridor. A soft snort blows the dust and debris from her nostrils before she padded outside, nails clicking softly on the concrete before being muffled by the soft dirt. Her gaze scans the view before her, auds pricked, listening carefully.
