I just wanted to point out, to whomever is reading this, that atheists are merely trying to gain equal rights and receive fair treatment. The Pledge is a contradiction to everything this country stands for, and "Under God" must be removed. Religion should not be sold to people, it must merely be AVAILABLE to the people. Atheists, Buddhists, and those who do not believe in a God should not have to have their money covered in "In God WE Trust." Jesus taught not to dwell on materialism. Yet God is on every single materialistic cent. This nation is NOT under God. The every person of this free country do not believe that "In God WE Trust." All this has been done by those who oppress other's beleifs in order to commericalize and force their own beliefs onto others.

Atheists are not a religion, or one unified group who all beleive in the same thing. It is NOT a belief system just like being a theist is NOT a belief system. Atheists are those who does not believe in god. Anything beyond that is not what atheism is, only the what the individual thinks. I think atheism has been grossy misinterprested by those out to slander our name in efforts to oppress non-believers even further.
