 There are about 3000 Christian denominations; they can't all be right, maybe none of them are right.
..... The FIRST version, the one by Jesus, is partly described in Acts 2:44-47 and Acts 4:32-37. Those who are members of later versions are NOT following Jesus. Will/did God help them?
..... As for atheists, they quite honestly say that (for them) there is no God, they have not (yet) been in a position to have God help them when no other help was available, but there are many other people who KNOW from their own experiance that God did help them in the past, and very likely will help them in the future if they deserve that help.
