Subject: 2003 PPP Miss Congeniality Winner

What an exciting weekend that I had! From the time that I left Miami on the 9:40 a.m. US Airways flight to Charlotte, having the opportunity to sit next to Evander Holyfield from Charlotte to Atlanta, I had a blast. From the 45 minute shuttle ride to the Hilton Hotel and seeing my roommate Angela Howell waiting in the lobby for me, to getting to the room and being able to lay down for a few minutes IT WAS THE BOMB!

Once there and settled in, Angela and I ventured around Alpharetta until we found a nice barbeque restaurant by the name of SMOKEY BONES. There I met the most amazing gentleman Dominique. He was gorgous and mad Angela and I feel quite welcome! 10 of us ventured back to SMOKEY BONES that evening and had ribs for dinner! Dominique took pictures with me also! Angela, by the way, where is that picture? :-)

Saturday morning we arose to a nice buffet breakfast and prepared ourselves for our Interviews! The judges were very nice and we all shined in there! Saturday evening, we prepared ourselves to be presented to our watching public! We shined! We looked great and we were the bomb! Congratulations to all the winners!

Sunday night I left Atlanta with crown in hand! I get to the plane and as I am boarding the plane, the stewardess ask me what my crown is for! I told her that it is my state crown! After she congratulates me, I hear this coming from inside the plane: US AIRWAYS IS PROUD TO HAVE MISS FLORIDA WOMAN RIDING WITH US TODAY! SHE JUST COMPETED IN THE NATIONAL PAGEANT AND WON FIRST RUNNER UP AND MISS CONGENIALITY. I was then booted to first class and I felt like MISS AMERICA.!!!!!!

I was honored to have met the brightest and the most beautiful women that our country has to offer! Each of you, in your own special ways have touched my heart! You all are jewels!

Now on the case of the GOLDEN CORRAL! How in the world can you take a bunch of full figured women to the Golden Corral and expect us to get into evening gowns for a pageant!??? Well we did and we looked smashing! :-)

Thanks to all of you for your votes for Miss Congeniality! You made me feel so special!!!!
