Lara was born on 1971 in Belgium. She has an Italian mother and a Belgian father. She's French-Canadian and multilingual. Lara scored a number one hit on the Taiwanese top ten and from France to Brazil, in Italy, Belgium, Norway, Switzerland, Germany, Portugal, Japan and the United States, Lara Fabian has established her reputation as a determined singer-songwriter.

Lara released her first English language album,"Lara Fabian 2000" with many of the worlds best writers and producers including Walter Afanasieff(Broken vow), Pat Leonard, and Rick Allison. Lara co-writes most of her songs too!
This album has four version: US | Asia | Latin | Japanese!!!
