Great that you two have found this Hostel in Bundaberg that sends you out to work every morning! Or is it???? Anyhoo we are sure the cash will help you carry on for the rest of your trip. What is the rest of your trip? Never mind, we know you will figure that out.

G. Penny and Florence had a great week in Winnipeg both touring the town on our free days and absorbing some very interesting stuff during the Canadian Unitarian Council AGM. Was quite impressed with the Museum there and I understand from Bob you also visited the Winnipeg Museum on your cross Canada trek.

Had a postcard from Autumn yesterday and she had arrived in Ft.Nelson after sharing the driving with the Chief cook - 23 hours it took them from Merritt. They had to gather supplies for the 60 something crew - barge down the river for 3 hours - take a helicopter the rest of the way - set up the cooking facilities for the crew arriving in the next day. Figures she will be working steady for 20 days, 7 days a week and then have 1 1/2 weeks off. The pay is good though.

Church was very interesting this a.m. Couple from the States and their subject "Can the Universe Be Trusted? (And what on Earth Would It Mean to do So)" Some new ideas to mull over. The choir was great - did a number called Kakilambe.

G & G are off on the 9th for a short trip up to Quadra and Cortez Island with some seniors from our Centre. Beautiful Islands and we are looking forward to it.

We had a tour of your new abode courtesy N & B. The location is wonderful for you all and your folks are busy getting some renovations done before the move. They both seem very pleased and I am sure you will be.

I get to have a visit with Liam this Wed. while Erin goes off to her part time job at Toys R Us. She just recently is getting in a few hours each week.
I am thoroughly enjoying Grampa's digital camera and took over 70 pictures when I was in Winnipeg - me, who never takes pictures!!

We sure miss you two but its great the way we can keep in touch. Our love and hugs go along with this note.

XXOO G. & G. Furnes
