Subject: Where is everyone :(

We're in Chaing Mai now, and it is so beautiful!! Much less busy than Bankok, it has a great atmosphere. There appears to be lots to see and do around here. We might go jungle trekking, but we want to find something that isn't too exploitative of the hill tribes. There are lots of markets and temples in the area. We're staying at a lovely guest house for only $8 a night. We have our own private room with a little balcony (with a bathroom off of the deck, which is a little strange, but really nice!). We're on the 4th floor, so we have a nice view. Apparently the weather up here is supposed to be a little cooler than in Bangkok, so that will be a welcome change.

We won't write too much now, as we are off to explore the city!

p.s. We didn't just set this site up so we could tell you what we're up to, we really want to know what's going on at home too. We love receiving messages from home, so don't forget to say hello every once and a while. (thanks for the update you gave us mom, sounds like a nice curry/laundry outing you had!)
