Subject: We're in the sun too!

Hi girls! Still lazin about? We arrived in San Diego today - uneventful journey. It was extremely grey and rainy for the few days before we left, so we are really appreciating being here. Yesterday, In Vancouver, we spent a lot of time dragging our suitcases along, and holding umbrellas with the other hand. This afternoon, with Susan, we walked along the beautiful beach in La Jolla, watching girls in little bikinis, sunbathing, and watching the surfer dudes (although they were wearing wetsuits). We will spend the day with our friends tomorrow, then head out to the deserts. Luc, Susan's husband, took a solo bicycle trip in Malaysia and Thailand about three years ago - up the east coast. He was there for three - four weeks, so has lots of stories to tell - and he knows some of the places of which you speak.
