Subject: I a bad wittle girl.

I know I know I know, I said I'd post soon and then didn't, but now I am posting so don't hold the delay against me, please?

I really liked hearing about your time in New Zealand so far, sounds like a lot of fun, other than the weather. Maybe I shouldn't be doing all these rain dances in my spare time. Well, I guess you'll just have to back again sometime when it's nicer!

By the way, I really feel sorry for you two, going out to clubs and stuff and getting hit on by all these creepy New Zealand guys with their horrible accents (NOT!!!). You should go to the clubs where all the sexy elves hang out, though I imagine they are hidden deep within enchanted forests and generally pretty inaccessable. But I bet you'd meet nothing but gentlemen there!

There is not much around here to report, as one day is pretty much like the next when you're a full time mom. I have been keeping up my trips to the gym, which has been nice. I'm still losing weight, although I did make the mistake of following Nathan to the Blood Services clinic when he went to donate blood today, and while I was sitting in the waiting area, there were all these free yummy cookies like Fudgeos and Oreos and those yummy Peek Freans with the jam on top and the creamy middles... Needless to say I didn't hold out too long. I can resist everything but temptation.

I also went to see "Bowling for Columbine" with Nathan, which I thought was a really great film and I was going around telling everybody they had to see it, until I did some research and found out that Micheal Moore tends to doctor his interviews and distort statistics and facts in order to support his point. You can read about this at

http://www.hardylaw.net/Truth_About_Bowling.html

and there are a lot of other sites and newspaper and magazine articles which make the same allegations. It was pretty lame for me when I found that out because I think the film made a great point, but if it does so by misleading and manipulating the audience then it doesn't do much for the anti-gun/anti-violence movement as a whole. I also doesn't think it should have won best documentary, because it isn't really a documentary at all. It makes me sad.

I also saw Chicago with mom, which was very well cast, very cool and very fun and which didn't make me sad at all. I'd recommend it to all and sundry, including those who need something to do on a rainy New Zealand day which is not appropriate for sightseeing.

Another important thing to note is that Liam is cute. He can now roll over both ways. He smiles and laughs a lot and cries less and less. He is learning to express his displeasure in other ways like loudly babbling "bla bla bla ma na eh eh aahhh" etc. He likes to be held upside-down, to be puled along the bed by his feet, to have his hands kissed and to have his chest and armpits tickled. He is happiest when both me and Nathan are around - it's really fun to watch how happy he gets when daddy comes home. Also he is growing so fast that he's now nearly 13 pounds. His eyes are still greyish-blue, and then kind of browninsh-green when you look at them from the side.

Anywyas, that's all I can think of to say right now! Hope the weather clears up for you guys and that you continue to have a jolly old time on your world tour.

Love love from me! (Liam says "bla bleh, aunties" which I think means "I miss you bunches, come home safely so you can feed me some mushed up banana - when I can eat solids - and tickle my tummy and kiss my cute little nose!".)

Toodleoo for now, sweetie sissies!
