too many the smartcard thing was a bit of popularity associated with the tech boom in 2000--this i feel sure will change as many of the things that drove the share prices to such huge highs---had not happened then--they had been announced--as lost states---takes around 12 to 18 months thats on the transit side to kick in--with the multi application side--things change the us gov 200 bill over next ten years to improve transport--then youve got the security thing since sept 11 2001--the tech is much improved and developed--all sorts of stuff.
i often think to myself many people see an announcement but they don't really read it.
Ducato--to the smartcard world to draw an analogy is probably the equivalent of inventing the wheel--yet too many who don't follow closely developments it may not have that significance.
