Subject: Kings Arms, Great Tichfield Street

In the run-up to the final judging of a London Pub of the Year award I was supposed to visit a Sam Smith's Pub. I somehow managed to walk right past it, possible being focussed on the prominent Kings Arms (68 Great Titchfield Street, W1W 7QL) further along the road.

I took the opportunity of a quick pint there (Franziskaner weisse) and was impressed by the draught beer range. Belgian beer was Leffe and Maredsous blonde plus some fruit beers - Fruli & Leifmans Frambozen to name two, and I assume Hoegaarden, though I don't specifically recall it. I didn't manage to see what they had in bottle.

They also had Staropramen and dark Budvar on draught. Once again I'll re-visit and get a full list.

This seems to be part of the same chain as the Cuckfield (see my post)a sub-group still owned by Michell and Butler or whatever they're trading as at present. Does anyone know of other similar pubs?
