Back in time....100 words

Walter paced in the dark hallway waiting for her. The mission had been a hard one and he was worried about her.

Madeline finally turned the corner still in mission blacks, she looked exhausted.

“Hey, you ok?” he asked her concerned.

“Yes. Fine. How are things here?”

“Not good. Adrian is asking a lot of questions.”

“I know. I have to go see her now. Do you think she knows?”

“I had the transmissions blocked, but somehow…yeah, she knows.”

Madeline left out a sigh.

Walter asked, “Was it worth it?”

“An hour alone with Paul? Oh yes, definitely worth it.”
