Walter paced in the dark hallway waiting for her. The mission had been a hard one and he was worried about her.

Madeline finally turned the corner still in mission blacks, she looked exhausted.

�Hey, you ok?� he asked her concerned.

�Yes. Fine. How are things here?�

�Not good. Adrian is asking a lot of questions.�

�I know. I have to go see her now. Do you think she knows?�

�I had the transmissions blocked, but somehow�yeah, she knows.�

Madeline left out a sigh.

Walter asked, �Was it worth it?�

�An hour alone with Paul? Oh yes, definitely worth it.�
