She was young, very young, when they first sent her out on Valentine missions. She knew they weren't sought-after assignments, had heard others complain about feeling used and degraded, but she didn't feel used—just the opposite.

Instinctive and intuitive, she possessed the uncanny ability to perceive a target's weakness, to give the kind of mindless, overwhelming pleasure that blots out all caution. And she turned her sexuality into a deadly weapon.

She looked forward to the Valentine missions. They gave her a sense of exhilaration, power, and the first stirrings of how it felt to be totally in control.
