And that you thought of using the FFMB as a way to find some readers for a story that's stuck. I'll even take a look myself ... I've always enjoyed your stories very much.

However, I am wondering if you might be comfortable posting these chapter drafts on one of the free blogging sites in a personal blog, where you could make it 'eyes only' for trusted friends. I know you are not worried about being ripped off, but I'd hate for the FFMB to have been used that way if someone did. Or for your posting here to raise potential publication problems.

Livejournal in particular has become a huge meeting place for both fanfition and proficiton writers to hang out and share ideas and drafts and seek out comments/reaction/feedback. Here is a link:

Another thing I think you might like about the wide world of lj is that there is a significant pool of old LFN ficcers who've left LFN quite behind, but are active in other fandoms and still keep (sort of) track of each other. I bet you would find more readers who would be happy to offer their feedback as well through lj.

I'd also be more than happy to post links to your lj postings here so that fans of yours can keep up with you that way.

Good luck with the new story, and the agent-hunting.

Nell
