Happy Anniversary LFN!!!!!!!!!!!!

This was posted at Storyboard 1 (http://www.voy.com/15165/) this morning, and I wanted to bring it here and extend the invitation to all of you to join in the fun. :)

Happy Anniversary LFN !!!!!!

Welcome my friends, to the show that never ends. (At least on the internet anyway)
A few weeks ago, I was talking with LoveRoy, and had an idea. The 10th Anniversary of the original airing of La Femme Nikita in the US was coming up, and with the story boards/message boards being relatively quiet, an inspiration struck. Why not ask a few friends to write/create something to commemorate the occasion?

As the story goes, I told two friends, they told two friends, and so on and so forth.
I chose Storyboard 1 as the place to kick off the festivities for personal reasons. This is where I found and fell in love with fan fiction, and was my first internet home where I felt comfortable enough to post my first fan fiction. So for me, this is where it all started and it felt right to me to kick things off from here.

Our fandom seems to be winding down as of late. People move on, real life intrudes; people disagree and step back. These are all viable facts. What I refuse to accept is that people lose interest in La Femme Nikita itself. This is just not possible!!!! La Femme Nikita has touched each one of us in some special way. Let's face it, that's why we are still here 10 years later! Whatever our personal differences may be, we are bound together by a TV show that captured our hearts and imaginations and made us part of something bigger than ourselves for an hour a week on TV, or many hours at a time on the internet.

Without further adieu, below you will find fan fiction that was written/polished off and presented to you on behalf of some LFN fan fiction writers. We hope you enjoy this little waltz down memory lane to celebrate a show that has brought us so much enjoyment while on the air, and continues to bring us joy in its internet afterlife.

We also invite anyone and everyone who is so inclined, to maybe post a little snippet, or a drabble that's been bouncing around in your head, or maybe even a short story.
This invite is extended to veteran writers, as well as newbies. However short or long, any and all writings are truly welcomed, and appreciated.

Annnnnnnnd, as well as having fan fiction, there is also a forum that has been generously created by the wonderful gals over at Five Light Years Farther. ( http://about-roydupuis.com/forum/index.php ) The owners/admins have created a place to post clips, pictures, collages, or any type of visuals and fan fiction that have been created to celebrate this anniversary. I know a lot of members have worked very hard to create vids and pics to commemorate this anniversary event, so please drop by and take a leisurely visual stroll down memory lane there, too. ;)
