This is mostly "convalescing," with a little bit of "preparing a meal"

"Well, I could have the blue drink, or the yellow drink. They both qualify as 'clear liquids,' I suppose."

It's been three days since Nikita had her stomach pumped, an unpleasant part of debriefing after a mission to retrieve a set of microchips from a green-listed source went bad. Their cover had been blown and she'd had to pull one of those lame maneuvers from a cheesy spy movie and swallow the evidence. Having a tube shoved down her throat and the leftovers from a hasty dinner at a street vendor in Tangier was only marginally better than waiting until the objects in question left in the traditional way, but her allergic reaction to the new saline mix definitely tipped the balance, making this one of her least favorite visits to Medlab. She was stuck there until this morning, hooked up to an IV drip while every single one of her visitors seemed to talk about nothing but food. Half the time she couldn't decide if she was jealous or nauseated, her stomach clenching with every description of baba ganoush, risotto, or hot dogs. If she was going to feel this bad, she wanted to do it at home, and so she talked the doctor into releasing her, promising that she wouldn't eat anything solid for another 48 hours. Walking out the door with a bag of fitness drinks she felt a little woozy, but she wasn't going to say anything that might get her shoved back into that bed. She took a nap when she got home, and now she was standing in front of her refrigerator.

"Or I could mix them both together and get green drink."

When Michael finally got there the sun was setting and Nikita was sitting on her balcony with a pitcher full of lime green liquid gently bubbling next to her. She raised her glass to him as he stepped outside, and plucked out the tiny umbrella before she took a sip.

"It's cocktail hour -- would you like a drink?"
