Fifteen more minutes until the end of this rotation, and then three days of downtime. If I don't get tagged for anything, I can spend three days doing absolutely nothing -- no crawling in the mud, no reloading in the dark, no digging through piles of bloody bodies like the last time I went out. I just have to keep my head down for ten minutes while Madeline and Operations look over us all like so many drones, like the replaceable parts they think we are. Hide in plain sight for five minutes, and I'm home free. Free, right now.
