that *you* knew where to find Betsy's email addy, and that her address is, in the final analysis, out there in public on the net. But Betsy hasn't chosen to be visible in the LFN community for a very long time and I think that says something about how visible she *wants* to be.
This is strictly a personal stance and not one I expect everyone to share, but I always think the better protocol, when I have a person's email and someone else wants it, is for ME to contact that person (Betsy, in this case) and let them choose whether or not to initiate contact with a stranger.
Maybe I'm a wimp, but I appreciate it when folks opt to protect my privacy rather than revealing it.
