You must be true to yourself and the ending that you want or else the conclusion of your efforts over the years will be in vain. So what if the ending isn’t to everyone’s liking? ...... I say to them ... "Get over it!"

The end is what ties all of the twists and turns within the story together. If you cave in to reader pressure then you will never forgive yourself for an ending that you feel is inappropriate or less than what you intended it to be in the story synopsis that you planned. Not every story has to be all hearts and flowers. That’s nice but in the real world unexpected things happen ... so too can they in fiction ... and even to Michael and Nikita. This story is your baby ... it’s your imaginative creation which you have nurtured and painstakingly sweated hours and hours not to mention YEARS over. You end it as you see fit!

Remember you have already given much pleasure to those who have read your story along the way ... You will applaud yourself for having the power of your convictions, so use the ending that you want.
