Call this one what you want. Junk or crap comes to mind.
It is what popped in my head. So what the heck.

Green

Ever changing to reflect his disposition
Like a mood ring circa 1977
I bought at a dime store when I was a kid
I’m cracking up at the above synonym

Those chameleon green eyes

I read this stuff and write a bit too
This fan-based fiction
Featuring a character
Michael Samuelle
The perfectly imperfect man
Flawed in all the right places

Emerald
Jade
Olive
Darker when he is angry
That is how they describe his eyes
I think I did once or twice

I met him once
In natural light
Not Michael because that is impossible
but Roy
The perfectly charming man
Patient when put in tight places

His skin was tan
With a hint of a sunburn
And wrinkles from squinting
His hair was many colors
Sun bleached
There was some grey

When my eyes met his
And I was this close to him
I dared to hold his gaze
And not my breath
Okay. I held my breath some

They were not ever changing
They were not green, jade
Or emerald for that matter

His eyes were blue. Just blue.
