It is indeed a sad day. Joyce was a person who cared very deeply about everything she gave her passion to. When she acted, she gave her all and more, and had high expectations for those around her. She had integrity, and a great sense of humor. Her example is a hard one to live up to, but a great one to aspire to.

It's hard to believe that she has gone from us. She was like a Steel Magnolia. Even though she wasn't Southern, she had that quality - true grit.
