My child attends a school that ranges from kindergarten to 8th grade. At the beginning of the year the 7th and 8th graders just seem like bigger versions of the younger kids, and through the winter, while they're all bundled up in sweatshirts and jackets, it seems to stay the same. Come the spring, though, they shed all that winter clothing, and there are real teenagers underneath, many of them with an attitude to match their physical development!
