"Maya's death?"

"Worked very well. Your agent is a good actress."

"And you?"

"They believe I'm the grieving mother. But things are escalating quickly here. I'm not sure I can hold it together much longer."

"Try to stay calm. Maybe this crisis is just what we need to shift their focus. We'll make it work for us," the voice soothes. "What are you wearing?"

"The fourth outfit."

"All right. I'll dress and be at the garage in half an hour. You can drive my car home and I'll simply take your place. Don't worry, I've been listening. I'm up on everything."

"Thank you. And Madeline. . . mother would have been proud of you."

"I . . . Leave it to me, little sister. CTU will be under our control before this day is over."
