Warner Brothers is delivering the LFN DVDs under duress as it is. They never promoted the show, they didn't want to market it, and they certainly didn't want to manufacture merchandise or DVDs (Remember the Columbia-House debacle?) It doesn't surprise me that they've taken less than acceptable care, when it comes to LFN, to provide a quality product.
From misspelling Birkoff's name in the S1 DVDs to this latest idiocy, WB has demonstrated that they couldn't care less about the integrity of the show or the DVDs. Still, we're actually getting them after so many years of chipping away at the WB stonewall, so I suppose I should be grateful for every little crumb WB tosses our way. LOL!
