I really don't care if TPTB can't keep their shows straight. I only listen to the commentaries once, just for the novelty value, but I prefer to watch them 'au naturale'. *g* I have listened to all the commentaries on my extended LOTR dvds too - they have most of the cast sharing their thoughts, which is much nicer than just a producer or a director banging on and on.

It's fabulous to have the LFN episodes on DVD - fancy packaging is just the icing on the cake, after all - and being able to chuck out my manky old tapes and clear some space in my bookshelves is a huge bonus. Not that I'll be needing any space for Chris Heyn's book any time soon, of course. *snerk*
