Oh, I haven't taken anything as a criticism. In fact, I thought I was replying to your question, "As someone who hadn't seen many episodes, what got you interested in reading in the fandom?"

When I said I would lay the blame at Kate's feet, I should really have said I should thank her for introducing me to LFN fanfic and enticing me to read more.

As long as I have a basic idea of who the characters are, what they do and how they interact, and, most importantly, if I give a damn about what happens to them, I will read every printed word available.

Before LFN, I was on the fringes of Man From UNCLE fandom, and had read several zines, so the concept of fanfic was not entirely foreign to me. I merely switched allegiances to LFN, because the characters were fresher and much more interesting.
