The uncommon feeling of uncertainty knotted her stomach, making preparations for her evening out nearly impossible. Yet the impending thrill of meeting new people to master pushed her to completion. One final glance in the mirror and she was on her way.

Seated demurely at a table and surveying the room for possible partners, her mind wandered to past encounters and future desires. She had the loveliest new bondage device; oh, what she could do for a man when he was manacled and hanging from her ceiling. And if he was ~really~ into pain, her trusty battery and electrodes hadn't been used in awhile.

An elegant man in black strutted past her as if she weren't even there. Slightly disappointed, she chuckled to herself, "Mr. Pretty" wouldn't last five minutes with me. Just then the waiter delivered her drink. Sensing her mood, he spoke gently. "He's not really into S&M; just cruising for a new thrill, if you ask me. Hey, didn't you used to go to the Raz-ma-taz? I used to work there; name's Henry."

She looked up into the eyes of a man she immediately recognized as a soul-mate and ~almost~ smiled. "Elizabeth."
