I don't celebrate birthdays, so I didn't post earlier - but I wanted you to know that I truly appreciate the tender, loving care you devote to our stories, drabbles, and the protection of them from the likes of IT.

I can't even remember a time when you weren't the caretaker of LFN fan fictions. Geez - 1996??? That was when I bought my first computer (used my tax return) and started writing. I discovered the storyboards soon after, and of course, I was hooked. Reading chapter after chapter of stories by Kate, Shelly and Ghost, and, later, other adventurous writers, I was hungry for more. I found the archives after that, and thank goodness you'd issued the slob-disclaimer: "Warning - storyboards are addicting!" You were right - I was addicted.

I'm grateful to know that all our stories are in your care and keeping, and I'm even more grateful to know that it isn't a burden to you, but a pleasure.

Thank you, Ranma, for all that you do, and for the way that you do it. In my early days as a fan fiction writer, if I'd ever felt that the job of safely, lovingly archiving my stories was a chore to you, I probably would have stopped writing immediately. Thank you for making certain we all knew, and know, that it isn't a labor of love, so much as it's a cheerful task.

We love you, Ranma. You totally ROCK!!!!! And I know that graphics are sorta prohibited here, but somehow, this just says it all for me (Gen, please feel free to edit it out if it takes up too much bandwidth, or send me an e-mail and yell at me...) ;-)
