I've posted this elsewhere, but I'm too shocked to get more creative and post something original here. My apologies for being repetitive.

Zzoo and I were two of six women - total strangers - who took off across Quebec after the first LFN con for a week of sightseeing on the train ... the Gypsies we called ourselves. Brought together by a tv show, the internet, and middle-aged lust for a man we'd never met. LOL. It was the adventure of a lifetime.

She was a gutsy lady, confronting life on her own terms, and spreading laughter and zaniness to all the folks around her. And a damn good author. I still say she gave Michael a much better backstory than TPTB ever did ...

I won't say rest in peace, Donna -- you'd find that boring. So - give 'em hell. And here's a Mikey Mocha raised in your honor.

"To good friends. And the man who brought us together."

To Norma, Wheaties, DHK, nancyn, and Taichi - wherever you are these days: I hold that memory dear.
