He only had that one seizure on Christmas morning. He had 7 the following day (26th) all ranging from 30 seconds to about a minute. The 27th he had 9 seizures total with the longest one 1 1/2 minutes. Took him in through the ER on the 27th so most of those happened in the hospital.

He's being monitored now and we'll hopefully have a game plan by later today or tomorrow. Not sure we have many good options - phenobarbital has worked for the past 2 years quite well keeping Danny really stable. This set of break through seizures while he's well (no colds/infections to explain them) is not terribly optimistic. Hoping some new combination of drugs might work - trying to get a sense of that today.

At least we have exceptional care here at Children's and have great trust in the physicians who are managing him.

How's your mom? How was the trip back?
