self-propelled with big rear wheels for uneven surfaces. started on the first pull. i never had a lawnmower before. i have always used the Stihl linetrimmer.

it's a whole new world. just the sound of that engine. what memories. i haven't cut a lawn with a mower for almost 25 years. but in the day i had quite a few clients and cut a few acres worth of the green each summer.

we went electric when i was about twelve and it's an art unto itself swinging the cord and not slowing down the job.

remember when we had to do all the trimming with one of those squeeze-by-hand mullet cutters?
