interesting site. I was quite surprised at the differential in Rep/Dem PAC money donated at the presidential level (something like 700K Dem to 2mill Rep).

Any of you donate to PACs or individual candidates? I gave money to a local Physical Therapy PAC - money stays in the state of WI and goes to candidates for state office only. Interesting, as this year my PAC contribution went to a race in Green Bay rather than the race here in Tosa (the incumbent is someone I don't see eye to eye on relative to the running of Wauwatosa, but who is favorable to PT causes).

I've had the chance to work closely this year with our paid lobbyist for the Wiscsonsin Physical Therapy Association (I'm on the board of directors). Some interesting political insights. One of our goals as an association in the next 2 years is to use his expertise to groom a member to run for statewide office. Our first job is to find a 'vulnerable' district with a strong potential candidate.
