i used to think that i wanted the tv news to be objective and now feel differently. i just want a little balance to the subjectivity. it doesn't feel as insulting to my intelligence that way.

as for emperical measuring sticks- krAzee's formula breaks it down into a manageable and discussable format whereas pA's point re: clarity in the maelstrom is well made as well. the letter is poignant as well.

as for pJk: if we can start fighting amongst ourselves, perhaps the vOy may survive even in his absence [!]
