There are some important issues that will be decided on the 4th Session of 2008 MIC Council meeting. The issues that will be decided will be the Walden Point Road project, which is worth 10 million dollars, ($10,000,000.00). Metlakatlan�s jobs are at stake. Metlakatlans need to see who is going to get the contracts and how many Metlakatlans it will hire. You need to get up there and make sure that you are given the opportunity to get hired.

The Community has been crying about the Judge�s, and how they are bias in there determination on who gets prosecuted on crimes on the Islands, Now is the time to voice your concerns at this Council Meeting.

Other areas of concern, Is the Council by its vote, able to change the Constitution of Metlakatla Indian Community. Or is this a subject that is only left up to a Member vote at a Constitutional amendment election?

What ever your concerns are. This is an important Council Meeting. If you want fair and equal treatment in Metlakatla, Members need to attend and voice there concerns.
