Here is the stuff that you should ask distributors when you call them:

1)How much shelf space is available for new companies (for body and slides)?
2)What are the stocking fees and slotting fees?
3)Do they recommend the use of a manufacturing rep?
4)What are their inventory and shipping policies?
5)The profit/square inch requirements?
6)What are the markups and margins?
7)Do they have exclusivity clauses (we can't sell to them and online or something)
8)Any other policies with new companies and any advice they have on where to distribute and who to call?

Call places like Target, Wal-Mart, FAO, K-Mart, KB, ToysRUs, any toy companies that you see listed online and any other places to get as much info as possible... I'll be doing the same. Thanks a lot for your help guys, we gotta kinda get this info quick for wed.
